In this folder, I want to give you a sense of the size of some popular deep sky targets. In each image is an artificial copy of the moon shown at its real size.
From these images, I hope you see that many beautiful objects in the sky aren't small, they're just very, very dim!
Please note that the Moon in these pictures has been placed there using digital image manipulation and is only for size comparison.
